The Technology

Every Xion vehicle is built around a core principle: motorcycle-grade components at electric-vehicle efficiency. Here’s what’s actually inside.

Battery System

The VorteX series and commercial pedicabs run our 72V 58AH lithium-ion pack — one of the most powerful batteries in its class. The CyberX series uses a high-density lithium pack tuned for range, delivering up to 120 miles on a single charge.

All packs are managed by a smart BMS (Battery Management System) that protects against overcharge, deep discharge, and thermal runaway. Charges from 0–100% in 6 hours on the standard 10A charger, or under 3 hours with the optional 15A fast charger.

Motor Systems

Different vehicles need different motors. We use three configurations across the lineup — each matched to the performance target of the model.

Motor Type Used In Characteristics
Mid-Drive CyberX E-Bike, CyberX E-Moped Torque through the drivetrain, better hill climbing, more efficient at varying speeds. Paired with 2-person frame.
Direct Drive Hub CyberX E-Moto No chain, fewer wear parts, instant torque delivery. Enables 70 mph top speed with minimal maintenance.
750W Hub Motor VorteX Series, Trike, Pedicabs Class 2 compliant. High torque for cargo, passenger, and utility loads. Reliable across all terrain types.

Controller & Electronics

Xion vehicles run the BAC (Bluetooth Advanced Controller) series — programmable motor controllers that allow fine-tuning of power delivery, regenerative braking, and throttle response. The BAC4000 and BAC8000 variants are available for both CyberX and VorteX platforms.

The system includes a full-color APT 750c display, hall-sensor motor feedback, and Anderson plug power connections throughout — all serviceable with OEM parts we keep in stock.

Frame & Suspension

The CyberX frame is engineered for two-person riding with full suspension front and rear. The VorteX uses a distinctive triangular frame with integrated LED channels — structural and aesthetic in one.

Both platforms use motorcycle-grade disc brakes front and rear, adjustable seat posts, and fat-tire geometry optimized for stability at speed and on uneven terrain.
